255 - I Am Blessed

In the world today, we see oncoming storms in almost every area of life: war, disease, hurricanes and famine to name just a few. But, if you have Jesus Christ in your life and you recognize Him as Lord, you are blessed in Him regardless of your circumstances. In Ephesians 1:3, Paul writes that God promises an abundance of spiritual blessings to those who will humble themselves by receiving and believing in the finished works of Jesus Christ. Are you enjoying His spiritual blessings right now? Or are you struggling with being blessed by God? 227 - Three Great Things to Know

In Paul's letter to the Ephesians, chapter 1:15-23, the apostle prayed that the people of Ephesus might come into a greater knowledge of their salvation through Jesus Christ. The word "know" comes from the Greek word, "ginóskó", which means "to have a complete understanding" or "to be definite about".  To "know" is also to have a relationship with the "knower".  Do you need a stronger understanding, or "ginóskó", of God's Word in your life today?  It is hopeful that this message of instruction to deepen your relationship with Jesus will bring you into a new "ginóskó" for your own life and strengthen your walk with God.

226 - The Dynamic Christian

The word "dynamic" literally means "explosive".  God wants us to be "dynamite" Christians bringing the Word to an unbelieving world as well as be powerful in our own faith. Acts, chapters one and two, tell the miraculous story of the Pentecost and God's gift of the Holy Spirit to all who wish to be born again under the saving blood of Jesus Christ.  A dynamic Christian is one who has the power of the Holy Spirit operating in their lives.  Do you struggle with receiving or sharing the gifts of God?  We as believers in Christ are expected to be, not just receivers, but transmitters of the Word of God and to minister with compassion and enthusiasm.  If you feel you are floundering in your relationship or understanding of the Holy Spirit, may this message help get you back on track with God.

340 - How to Get Out of Prison

Paul and Silas were on their second missionary journey when they came upon many people suffering from the affliction of evil spirits. Paul and Silas cast out those spirits in the name of Jesus Christ, but instead of gratitude, the two apostles were considered a local nuisance and eventually arrested. Although beaten and imprisoned in an unfamiliar place, Paul and Silas continued praising Jesus during their circumstances.  God heard their praises and the two apostles were ultimately set free as well as many other prisoners in the surrounding cells who heard Paul and Silas’s praises to Jesus and believed. What is your prison right now? Do you need to be set free? Jesus brings forgiveness, redemption and a new life to all who ask and believe in His name. It is my hope that this message of freedom, based on Acts chapter 16, will encourage you to search what areas in your life are still ‘incarcerated’ without God—and how Jesus can set you free!
